Sharjah Museums Authority seeks to provide the highest standards of services through its educational programmes for families, community (above 16) and families with different disabilities. Furthermore, it offers programmes designed particularly for schools, universities and special education and care centres in order to create an amusing educational atmosphere for students. Programmes are varied and include group discussions, interactive workshops, self-led tours, and specialized tours related to 16 museums in Sharjah, covering  art, Islamic culture, archaeology, heritage, science, marine life, and the history of Sharjah and the region. The aim of the educational programme is to enrich the knowledge of visitors about museums’ collections and make their visits remain in their memory forever.
