Muslim scientists have greatly contributed to the Islamic World with their important inventions and achievements. Their innovations were a turning point in the history of humanity and are the reason why we now have many of the modern day inventions which are an integral part of our daily lives. 

Learn about the important inventions and achievements of Muslim scientists through the real tours and diverse activities and science competitions at Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization. 

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Target Audience: for children aged 8 – 14 years old.

  • The Holy Month of Ramdhan (Islamic Calendar).
  • International Museum Day on 18th of May.
  • Martyr's Day on 1st of December.
  • UAE National Day on 2nd of December. 

The museum is closed during the following:
  • 29th & 30th of Ramadan (Islamic calendar).
  • First day of Eid Al-Fitr (Islamic calendar).
  • 9th of Dhul Hijjah (Islamic calendar).
  • First day of Eid Al Adha (Islamic calendar).
